Borobi (Koalas) Room
Our Babies Room caters for children 6 weeks – 15months. Our Educators build quality bonds and interactions with our youngest children from the start. This ensures the children feel safe, secure and loved, and are confident to start exploring, learning and developing.
At this age, children often want to utilise their five senses to explore their environment and discover new things. A range of experiences are offered to give the children an opportunity to build their senses and explore new opportunities.
Our 6 seater pram ensures even our youngest are able to take part in our Nature Explorers Program, where they learn more about local flora, fauna and our local community.

Murun (Emus) Room
Our Toddler Room is where our 15 month – 2 year olds engage in our play based program while building upon their independence, self-help skills, motor skills and social interactions.
The children utilise our indoor/outdoor program, ensuring they have access to numerous exciting and developmentally appropriate experiences, including our Nature Explorers Program. Language is supported with our Abecedarian Approach, as the Educators embed our Enriched Caregiving with one-on-one interactions with the children each and every day.

Guwan (Possums) Room
Children aged 2 to 3 years of age will join our Possums Room, where they will be encouraged to explore, investigate, try new things, make choices, respect nature and develop their own sense of identity.
Our open-ended, play based learning opportunities ensure the children’s individual interests and development are planned for, extended upon and children have the opportunity to be challenged. Our Gardening Program builds the children’s knowledge of sustainability as well as caring for the world around them. Through the gardening program, the children engage in planting and watering our plants, herbs and vegetables, composting and recycling. |
Muni (Kangaroos) Room
For children aged 3 to 4 years old, they will join our Kangas Room, where they are given the opportunity to explore new ideas and concepts to help prepare them for Kindergarten next year.
|
Our program is designed to cater to the children’s interests and incorporate developmental goals. Within this program, children actively choose what they want to engage with and begin to develop independent skills. The Educators deliver experiences with loose parts and provocations to build the children’s experimentation and problem solving skills.
The children engage in our Cultural incursions with fortnightly visits from Uncle Boomerang, where they learn more about Indigenous culture, music, art, bush tucker and reconciliation. |
Jarjumm Nabei (Kindergarten) Room
Our Kindergarten program caters for children from 4 to 5 years old, and we run a Queensland Government approved Kindergarten program, with a qualified Early Childhood Teacher. Our Prep Readiness Program ensures our children are prepared for school the following year and offers a unique indoor/outdoor program which is facilitated by the child’s interests and prepares them for school - socially, emotionally, physically and cognitively. |
We have key focuses on developing social and self-help skills so children become independent and take ownership of their belongings as well as obtaining skills to navigate friendships, conflicts and confidence. This could look like your child going to the toilet on their own, taking care of their own belongings or asking for assistance.
We link closely with Edens Landing Primary School for Prep transition days throughout the year, to ensure our Kindy children build relationships with Prep teachers, feel comfortable in the schooling environment and have access to the schools programs, such as – visits to the Prep classrooms, PE lessons, music lessons, library visits, cooking experiences.
Our Kindergarten children take the centre bus to explore different habitat and environments in our local community as part of our Nature Explorers Program, gaining a greater knowledge of the natural environment, sustainability and the world around them.

outdoor environment
Children have the opportunity for both indoor and outdoor play as part of each group’s routine. Our nature play inspired outdoor environment provides the children with opportunities that stimulates their imaginations, allows for natural interaction with nature, and will test their co-ordination, balance, skills and strength.
Our Natural playgrounds provide greater opportunities for children to engage in interactive play. As the environment constantly changes, play becomes more interactive, there are fewer restrictions, more freedom to run around and explore and for children to truly immerse themselves in play. |
